What we do, and what we don't
When you post a job, we check which landscapers cover your postcode and do that type of work, and pass your request to them. Those who can help contact you directly.
- We don't carry out the work or employ the landscapers.
- We don't set prices or take a cut of what you pay them.
- We don't publish your details, and we don't show a public directory of firms.
How we make money
Landscapers pay to receive jobs in their area. Posting a job is free for you, and you're never obliged to hire anyone.
Who can receive jobs
Ask which competent person scheme they're registered with, and check that scheme's public register yourself before you let them start.
Ask for proof of public liability insurance. Don't take a screenshot of a logo as proof.
Notifiable work should come with a Building Regulations compliance certificate. Ask for it when the job is finished.
How a job moves
Describe the job
What's happening, what you've already tried, and your postcode.
Local landscapers see it
Only firms that cover your postcode and do this kind of work. Urgent jobs are flagged as urgent.
They contact you
By phone or message, with availability and how they price the job.
You choose, or don't
Hire whoever fits. If nobody suits you, you're not committed to anything.
